Believing in the inherent worth of all Black people, Black Visions co-creates spaces that conjure possibilities of change and growth, deepen our practices of resilience, and move toward greater integrity.

We organize to shape decisions for ourselves, our communities, and the world. We do this by building visionary, strategic, and sustainable movements led by Black Queer and Trans folks that can hold all of us. We know that Blackness is expansive and our work must reflect this clarity. To honor this knowing, we strive to build relationships within abundant ecosystems and across movements that address the diverse needs and futures of all Black people.

Black Power: Building collective power to address the harms of past and present generations is our work. With this power, we believe that we can and will influence just global movements of resilience, community action, and possibility.

Vision: Casting forward the dreams of our Black radical Ancestors we weave them with the imaginations of future generations. From our visions, we grow Black futurities that are healing and liberated.

Transformation: Radically transforming ourselves, our relationships, and our world is possible. We center from this place of truth, and commit ourselves to the intentional praxis required to make this layered, ever-evolving, life-long journey.

Joy: Celebrating, playing, and finding pleasure in community is the heart of how we transform, build Black power, and stay true to our visions. Movements last lifetimes and we will throw it back for our liberation now!
